Dr. Liang, Tan-Feng was born in Nanjing in 1935. She was raised in a family of art and experienced the war. Her father, Liang, Ting-Ming, was one of the masters of Chinese contemporary art who was skilled at Chinese and western painting and absorbed in literature and calligraphy. Inheriting her father’s talents and her mother’s elegance, combined with her life experience, Dr. Liang became the well-known painter Liang, Tan-Feng.
